2024 Schedule of the Silver State 508

Thursday, September 12: 12:00 – 4:00 pm PDT

BICYCLE CASE AND OVERSIZE LUGGAGE STORAGE:
If you have large boxes that you need to store during the race, you may bring them to RACER CHECK-IN for storage at the host hotel. They may be retrieved at any time after the first finishers begin to cross the finish line on Saturday.

RACER CHECK-IN
Location: Salon A at the Hilton Garden Inn, 9920 Double R Blvd, Reno, NV 89521.
Only racers will need to attend check-in, but all racer and crew waivers need to handed in, signed. THIS MUST BE COMPLETED BY 4:00PM, OR THE ASSOCIATED RACER(S) WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO COMPETE.

Thursday, September 12: 5:00 PM PDT

PRE-RACE MEETING for SILVER STATE 508 RACERS
Location: Reno-Sparks Convention Center, 4590 S Virginia St, Reno, NV 89502.
We will have an in-person race meeting, because we have secured a large room with tall ceilings and space to spread out at the convention center. The convention center is 4.4 miles from the Hilton Garden Inn (about a 10-minute drive).
MANDATORY. Solo entrants must be represented by the racer and at least one crew. 2X Team entrants must be represented by at least one racer and one crew. 4X Team entrants must be represented by at least two racers and one crew or 3 racers. ALL crew members and ALL racers are strongly encouraged to attend.

Friday, September 13: 5:00 am PDT/7:00 AM PDT

SILVER STATE 508 SOLO AND RANDONNEUR START TIME (5:00 AM):
Location: The race will begin at the front of the Hilton Garden Inn, near the starting arch near the driveway entrance.
All riders must be present at the start no later than twenty minutes prior to their start time for pre-race instructions and photos. Front and Rear bicycle lights are required for 5:00 AM starters.

SILVER STATE 508 RELAY START TIME (7:00 AM):
Location: The race will begin at the front of the Hilton Garden Inn,  near the starting arch near the driveway entrance.
All riders must be present at the start no later than twenty minutes prior to their start time for pre-race instructions and photos. Bicycle lights are not required as sunrise is at 6:40AM.

Saturday, September 14: 6:00 am PDT

MOTHER LODE 200 SOLO AND TANDEM START TIME (6:00 AM):
Location: The race will begin at the front of the Hilton Garden Inn, near the starting arch near the driveway entrance.
All riders must be present at the start no later than twenty minutes prior to their start time for pre-race instructions and photos. Front and Rear bicycle lights are required.

MOTHER LODE 200 FINISH TIMES:
Location: The race will finish at the front of the Hilton Garden Inn, near the starting arch near the driveway entrance.
Barring any unforeseen serious circumstances, the event is officially finishes for solo and tandem entrants at 11:00pm on Saturday.

Sunday, September 15: 5:00 am/6:00 AM PDT

SILVER STATE 508 FINISH TIMES:
Location: The race will finish at the front of the Hilton Garden Inn,  near the starting arch near the driveway entrance.
Barring any unforeseen serious circumstances, the event is officially finishes for solo and team entrants at 5:00AM on Sunday, and randonneur entrants at 6:00AM on Sunday.
